Why Screen-Free Matters

The Toys Worth Putting the Screen Down For

Pediatricians recommend little to no screen time in the early years — yet for most children, the reality looks very different. We believe play should pull little ones back into the real world, not the digital one.

Give them something better to do.

When kids have good toys and real things to do with their hands, they're a lot less drawn to a screen. A puzzle to figure out or blocks to build with holds their attention in a way that actually does something for them.

Spending more time in the real world is how children build focus, problem-solving, and coordination. We just make the kind of toys that make that easy to reach for.

Good Questions

The stuff parents actually ask us

New to screen-free play? Here's what's worth knowing before you buy.

Are simple, screen-free toys actually better for my child? +
There's real research behind it. Open-ended toys that don't light up or play sounds ask your child to do the thinking, whether that's building, sorting, or solving, instead of just watching. That's what strengthens focus, patience, and imagination over time. A screen holds attention by giving constant stimulation. A good toy holds it by giving your child something to figure out. Both keep them busy, but only one is building something.
My child has a tablet already. Isn't it too late? +
Not at all, and this isn't all-or-nothing. Most parents aren't trying to ban screens entirely. They just want something better to reach for when the tablet becomes the default. When there's a genuinely engaging toy within arm's reach, the screen stops being the only thing that holds your child, and that balance shifts naturally over time. You don't have to fix everything at once.
How do I know which toy actually fits my child's age? +
The best toy is one that's a little bit of a challenge. Interesting enough to hold attention, but not so hard it's frustrating. That "just right" zone shifts fast in the early years, which is why we group everything into four stages: Babies, Toddlers, Preschool, and Kids. Shop by your child's age and you'll land on toys chosen for where they are right now, and every product page lists its recommended range.
Won't my child get bored of a toy with no lights or sounds? +
Usually it's the opposite. Toys that do everything for a child, all the flashing and talking and songs, tend to get old fast once the novelty wears off. Open-ended toys get played with differently as a child grows. Blocks are a tower one week and a road the next. Because the child brings the idea, the toy keeps up with them instead of running out of tricks.
Are these safe for babies who put everything in their mouth? +
Yes. Every toy is made from non-toxic, child-safe materials, with no BPA and no lead-based paints, so the toys made for the youngest ages are safe to explore, mouth, and discover. Each product page lists the materials and the recommended age so you always know exactly what you're handing over.
What's shipping and returns like? +
