Frequently asked questions
Which set should I choose?
Choose the Uppercase Board for capital letters only, the Upper and Lowercase Board for both on one board, or the 2-Board Set for separate upper and lowercase boards.
How does it work?
Chunky wooden letters lift out and fit back into matching slots on the board. Kids match each letter to its shape and can say the name as they place it.
What age is it for?
We recommend ages 3 and up because of the small pieces. Please supervise young children.
How big is the board?
The upper and lowercase board is about 29.8 cm (11.7 in) wide and 1 cm thick.
Can kids check their own work?
Yes. Each letter fits one way only, so kids can tell right away if a piece is in the wrong spot.
What skills does it build?
Letter recognition and the pinch grip kids need for writing later.
Does it need batteries?
No. It is a hands-on wooden puzzle with no batteries or screens.
How long does shipping take?
We process orders within 1–3 business days (orders placed after 5:00 PM PST or on weekends are processed the next business day). Delivery takes 4–9 business days after processing, for a total estimated delivery of 5–12 business days. Shipping is $4.99 on US orders under $50, and free on orders of $50 or more.
What is your return policy?
We offer 30-day returns. Read the full return and refund policy for details. If something arrives damaged or not as described, contact us and we will make it right.
