Frequently asked questions
Which instruments can I choose from?
Choose from Rain Tube, Moon Castanets, Trumpet, Castanets, Squirrel Maracas, Leaf Maracas, Triangle Bell, Knock Drum, Eighth Xylophone or Drum. Each order includes one wooden instrument in the style you pick.
Do these make real sounds or electronic sounds?
These are real acoustic instruments with no batteries and no electronics. The xylophone plays real notes, the maracas shake with beads inside, and the drum and castanets make genuine percussion sounds.
What age are they suitable for?
We recommend ages 1 and up. Simpler instruments like the maracas and rain tube suit younger children, while the xylophone and drum suit toddlers and preschoolers. Always supervise young children during play.
How big are the instruments?
Size varies by instrument. They are scaled for little hands, and the xylophone is about 25 cm long.
What are they made of?
Natural wood with smooth, polished edges. Some instruments also use durable steel parts.
What skills does music play build?
Shaking, tapping and banging teaches cause and effect and builds rhythm, timing, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. There are no rules, so kids can make music their own way.
Is it a good gift?
Yes. It is a screen-free gift that grows with a child, from a first shake of a maraca to a first xylophone tune, and it arrives in secure protective packaging.
How long does shipping take?
We process orders within 1–3 business days (orders placed after 5:00 PM PST or on weekends are processed the next business day). Delivery takes 4–9 business days after processing, for a total estimated delivery of 5–12 business days. Shipping is $4.99 on US orders under $50, and free on orders of $50 or more.
